The Phantom Troupe gathers for what should have been an ordinary meeting, only for Chrollo to arrive with someone unfamiliar at his side. To everyone’s surprise, he announces that the newcomer will be joining the Troupe. What catches them even more off guard, however, is the way Chrollo treats them. The Troupe has seen Chrollo remain calm in the face of danger, betrayal, and death. What they haven’t seen is Chrollo acting soft. So when he introduces the Troupe’s newest member—someone who seems to have unrestricted access to his personal space, attention, and affection—the room falls into stunned silence. As the meeting continues, the Troupe can’t help but wonder how long their leader has been involved with the mysterious new member—and just how far Chrollo’s devotion to them truly goes.
