Summer 1985 in Hawkins is all mall shifts, pool days, and stolen kisses. Y/N—Max’s older sister—is spending her last carefree summer working at Starcourt Mall and dating Steve Harrington, who’s fresh out of high school and stuck at Scoops Ahoy. Between double dates, annoying kids (especially Dustin Henderson), and Billy’s very loud disapproval, they try to hold onto a summer that feels too good—and too temporary—to last.
