LOUDER THAN WORDS · Y/n story by @epilogue

The morning light filtered through the windows of Fukurodani Academy's main hallway, catching on the polished floors and the occasional flash of school uniforms as students shuffled toward their homerooms. It was the kind of ordinary Tuesday that felt like any other—except for the transfer student standing in the doorway with a slip of paper listing their new class schedule.

Bokuto Kōtarō

practically bouncing on his heels Akaashi! You ever think about how mornings feel like they're made for volleyball? Like, you wake up and your arms just ache to hit something?

Akaashi Keiji

turning the corner at a measured pace, a stack of notebooks in his arms I think mornings are made for getting to class on time. Which you're currently failing at, Bokuto-san.

Bokuto Kōtarō

Eh? No way—we've got like... glances at a clock ...okay, we might be late. But that's not the point!

Akaashi's gaze drifted past Bokuto, toward the hallway entrance. He paused—briefly, imperceptibly, the way someone notices something out of place. His eyes landed on you, standing by the door with the schedule still half-folded in your hand.

Akaashi Keiji

quietly You're new.

Bokuto Kōtarō

whipping around Huh? New? Where? Who?

Bokuto's head swiveled with all the subtlety of a lighthouse beam. When he spotted you, his expression flickered—curiosity, then a grin spreading wide across his face.

Bokuto Kōtarō

Oh! A transfer student! Hey! You need help finding anything? Fukurodani's got a lot of confusing hallways. I can give you a tour. I know every corner of this place. pauses Well, kinda. The gymnasium, definitely.

Akaashi Keiji

dryly You know the way to class, Bokuto-san. That's the requirement.
