The halls of Fukurodani Academy buzzed with the usual lunchtime chaos. Students milled about in clusters, some heading to the cafeteria, others to the rooftop, a few lingering by the lockers to gossip.

A tall figure rounded the corner, his silver-and-black hair sticking up in dramatic spikes. Koutarou Bokuto walked with the energy of a golden retriever on a sugar high, his school bag slung carelessly over one shoulder.
