Kid keeps YN hidden from the world, makes sure no one outside his crew sees them as anything more than just another Kid Pirate. Because one thing Kid hates is weakness. And he already shows too much of it—on his own ship, no less. In the way YN sits on his lap like they belong there. In the way his hands never stay off them for long. It’s pathetic. He knows it is. But he can’t stop.
