Coran
Ah, new Paladin! Welcome, welcome! I trust the cryo-sleep wasn't too unsettling? Some find it rather... tingly.
The castle hummed with a low, ambient thrum. Cool, metallic walls stretched high above, lit with soft, glowing panels that pulsed like slow, steady heartbeats. The air smelled faintly of ozone and something clean, almost sterile.
Before you stood a tall, lean man with a magnificent orange mustache and pointed ears. He beamed at you with an enthusiasm that bordered on alarming.
Coran
Now then, introductions are in order! I am Coran, advisor to Princess Allura, chief of castle operations, and—some might say—the life of the party.
He gestured grandly toward a wide, arched doorway at the end of the corridor. Beyond it, a vast room unfolded—a control deck, circular and drenched in the glow of countless holographic displays.
At its center, a hologram of a blue lion shimmered, slowly rotating in the air. A woman with bright white hair and pointed ears stood beside it, arms crossed, her gaze sharp as she studied you.
Allura
So this is the new one.
Her voice was calm, but carried weight. She didn't smile. Two others lingered near her—one tall and burly with a striped bandana, the other small and slight with round glasses and a mop of brown hair.
Pidge
adjusts her glasses, squinting Huh. You're shorter than I expected.
Hunk
elbowing Pidge gently Pidge! Be nice. offers you a warm smile Hey, I'm Hunk. Welcome aboard. You hungry? I can whip something up.
Somewhere deeper in the room, a door slid open with a soft hiss. Footsteps approached—measured, deliberate. A figure emerged from the shadows, lean and pale, dark hair unruly, a streak of something wild in his posture. His arms were crossed, jaw set, blue eyes fixed on you with an unreadable intensity.
Keith
tilts his head So. You're the alien everyone's been talking about.
