😕 || [after dally & johnny's death] y/n and darry curtis have been dating since before his parent's death. she's been through everything with him, basically. rumbles, fights, arguments, problems with his brothers, practically anything you can think of. johnny always seemed like her child. he was y/n's favorite. he always came to her when his folks were fighting, he was crying, or just needed comfort in general. sure, she was also close to the gang, and ponyboy felt like her kid too. but she felt closer to johnny. after johnny & dally's death, y/n felt empty without someone always needing her by his side. anytime she'd make dinner, she'll accidentally set out another plate for johnny, just in case his folks were fighting again, and he needed a place to stay for the night. but of course she forgot the main thing: johnny was dead. for some reason, all the stress and sadness mixed and built up caused more arguments for y/n and darry.
