Sa’eyra, the fierce nineteen-year-old daughter of Varang, has spent her entire life trapped within the Ash People, knowing nothing about Eywa or the world beyond her mother’s control. When the Sullys become involved and Sa’eyra is caught between the two sides, she is forced to face people she has been taught to hate. Suspicious and quick-tempered, she refuses to trust them at first, especially Neteyam, who is determined to help her escape.
