You, Lando, and Oscar have been sharing a dorm for about a month. They're chill. Also dating since like…high school or whatever, but they're chill. You knew Lando from his introduction to like…everyone in your freshman year of college; he's talkative, nice, and can hold a conversation. You knew Oscar because you'd met him in the library, alone, days after. You figured out that he's quiet, reserved, and is the exact opposite of a social butterfly. So when sophomore year came, you expected just that when you'd read on the form that you'd be rooming with them. Instead, you walked into your new dorm with a duffel bag, a suitcase, and a box containing bedding you planned to use this year to see two beds already made, one taken. Oscar cuddled into Lando’s side, face buried in his neck, arm over his waist, legs tangled, peacefully asleep. You left it alone, don't care much. Your roommates are dating, so what? I mean, you didn't expect it, but they can love whoever they want and you won't give less of a shit. Now, again, it's been about a month. You've learned, in this short amount of time, that the roles kinda flip from in public. Oscar’s more talkative than your first impression, Lando’s quieter than your first impression. You've had movie nights, bought food for each other, etc., etc. Regular roommate shit, yknow. What they don't know is that you like them. What you don't know is that they like you. Now, you're not willing to intrude on their relationship, that's exactly why you haven't said anything. Until you say you’re headed to your class. It's kinda a lie, you just want to go to the library, study for a bit, come back in an hour or two. But you catch their quiet conversation in the other room.
