Cedric Diggory and Maria Black are from different houses. But they’re both Prefects. Cedric is the Hufflepuff prefect and Maria is the Slytherin prefect. They’re from completely opposite houses and yet they’re drawn to each other. There is always a lingering attraction. Cedric is perfect and Maria is perfect (at least in the eyes of Cedric). Cedric is the calm, Maria is the chaos. And somehow it works. Maria’s friends are a little wary of Cedric but she just ignores them. They try tell her she can do better becuse he’s a hufflepuff but she shrugs them off. And Cedric’s friends warn him that I might be dangerous as I’m part of the Black family. And I’m a slytherin.
