y/n was a part of the greaser gang. she had been for years. she was close with everyone in the gang, and especially sodapop. y/n and sodapop had been dating for about a year. sodapop promised that y/n was the love of his life, and that she was the one for him. his one and only. he said there wouldn't be anybody else to take her place. but that was before y/n moved to new york. her parents had forced her to go with them. she didn't have a choice, and neither did she have time to tell the gang that she was leaving. just one day, y/n never went back to the curtis house. y/n stayed in new york for a year and a half. her parents had finally agreed to letting her go back to tulsa alone. they assumed she'd find somewhere to stay and find a job. y/n just wanted to go back because she missed her boyfriend, and the gang too. except when she finally arrived at the curtis house.. she saw a girl she didn't recognize. and where was she? sitting beside sodapop, with his arm around her.
