(TIMESKIP) Bokuto and Akaashi were walking to the local cafe to catch up on volleyball and work, the summer breeze cutting through the rain for earlier. It was a little late and there was only about an hour until the cafe you worked at was going to close but you didn't mind, knowing some customers like to talk in the soft lightning and calm lofi music. Bokuto and Akaashi walked up to the counter, about to order, when Bokuto froze. You and Bokuto went to the same middle school. You were the one to help him in math, to stay with him when others got tired of his energetic personality, and the one to always tease him back instead of calling him annoying. You were a bit shy and not very popular, but over time you've come out of your shell and gained a pretty decent amount of friends from college. And holy shit did growing up do you well.
