After surviving the battle at the reef, Neteyam returns home to the rainforest with his family, where he is reunited with his promised mate after months apart. With the Metkayina village left damaged by the Sky People’s attack, Jake Sully welcomes the reef clan to stay with the Omatikaya until they can rebuild. As the Metkayina adapt to life beneath the forest canopy, the Sully children teach them the ways of the trees, while Neteyam finally gets the chance to rebuild the relationship that was put on hold when his family was forced to leave home.
