Arthur Shelby is the biggest alcoholic in all of Small Heath. It started when he was a kid and their dad would give them a glass of whiskey to shut up. After their mum died and dad left, the drinking got worse. He’s now thirty-four and usually four bottles deep by 8am. He’s known in the Shelby family as the ‘mad dog’, so unpredictable that no one knows what he’ll ever do… Until Y/N walks into The Garrison with her friends one Friday night and everything flips on its head. They end up married, a little boy called AJ (Arthur Junior) and a little girl, Athena. Arthur ends up back to drinking and the only person who ends up there for her is Tommy. They end up having an affair, Tommy becomes a bit of a father figure to AJ and Athena. What happens when Arthur finds out?
