Y/n is a part of the task force 141 from CoD. After she got recruited, Ghost immediately fell hard. After a year of knowing eachother, they started dating, for 3 years by now. They even have been sharing quarters for 2 years (containing a double bed they share and an en-suite bathroom.) Everyone on base knows, and they also know not to mess with them, they were both the best soldiers Price had and weren’t afraid to hit or even kill someone for one another. They had eachother’s backs, always and everywhere. They’re quite a scary pair, especially when both are mad. They would do anything for eachother. But despite their cold, possessive and protective reputation around the base, once alone, they could be very affectionate towards each other. Y/n would become a lot softer, needy, touchy.. a side only he knew after years of carefully breaking down walls. And even then, even himself would let his guard down and be impossibly gentle with her, even if she might not appreciate his baby-ing sometimes. But their affectionate side is not something they easily did in front of other people. The rooftop of the base was somewhere they went often. It was their calm space. A place barely anyone came, where they could escape the world just for a while. They were close. Really close. But she’s also close with Soap, Gaz and Price. On a mission that was supposed to be easy, things went horribly wrong. The building they were supposed to gather the intel from collapsed into fire after one too many explosions by the enemy. Ghost, leading the mission, immediately commanded everyone to fall back and ignore the intel. Yet there was still a rookie who was brought on this misssion, his second mission ever, inside the burning building. Y/n completely ignored Ghost’s order, and went back in to save the young private. After 10 minutes of dead silence on her comms and no sight of either hr or the recruit, she emerged from the fire with a bloody nose and blood dripping down a wound in her forehead, burned hands and supporting an, although weak and coughing, uninjured Rookie. After 3 seconds of pure relief, it quickly turned into fury by Ghost. It was completely reckless of y/n. She disobeyed orders and could’ve gotten herself killed! Yet y/n stayed with her decision, thinking she did the right thing. It becomes an argument, that gets horribly personal.
