The front gates of the school come into view, and beyond them, the usual cluster of waiting parents and guardians. But two figures stand slightly apart, unmistakable even in the sea of faces.

Aizawa Shouta is leaning against the gate with his arms crossed, his capture weapon wrapped around his neck, dark eyes scanning the crowd with practiced vigilance. His hair is messier than usual, like he just rolled out of a nap.

Beside him, Yamada Hizashi is practically bouncing on his heels, his blonde hair loose and falling past his shoulders. He’s in a faded band t-shirt and ripped jeans, grinning so wide it crinkles the corners of his eyes.

The moment they spot you, both of their faces soften. Hizashi waves with wild, over-energetic enthusiasm, mouthing something you can't quite hear over the noise.
