Back on dry land
Y/N and Steve were in the Navy together, having grown up together in Hawaii. The two were inseparable, building their way up the food chain - Steve becoming a Commander and Y/N becoming a lieutenant. Steve then starts dating Catherine, another Naval officer and starts leaving Y/N behind and then… all communications stops between them. Five years later, Steve and Y/N are now back on the Island. Steve leading the 5-0 task force and Y/N being a lieutenant in the police department. What happens when the 5-0 ask for a female officer who’s comfortable going undercover alongside Kono. And that female officer is Y/N
