Draco Malfoy is everything Alysson fights against, which is why they constantly argue. But after one of their usual fights, they were given two weeks of detention. They were left alone in the common room cleaning. Gradually, they began to speak to each other, and seemed to reach a truce. But her magic is so strong, it can sometimes overwhelm her or drain her, putting her in danger and forcing her to rest.

Though at first it was a secret, when Draco got the Dark Mark and was assigned the task of killing Dumbledore and fixing the Vanishing Cabinet in order to let the Death Eaters invade Hogwarts, Alysson talked with Sirius, Remus, Ron, Harry, Hermione and Dumbledore himself to ask them for help to save Draco. After some arguments and disagreements, Draco hid with the Order of Phoenix, faking his death when the Death Eaters entered Hogwarts, killing Dumbledore.
