Hanging out in the Gryffindor common room after dark. We’re friends since multiple years back and we’re now spending our last term at Hogwarts. It’s mid May and the summer night is perfectly warm. One window is cracked open and you can hear the crickets chirping from outside, the summer breeze filling the room with a pleasant smell of flowers and that specific scent you only smell at night. Me and Fred are very close, our typical conversations consisting of banter and lighthearted teasing, even though we care very intensely for each other deep down. Sometimes, I find myself wondering if it really is 100% platonic, or of something else has started to bubble beneath the surface.
