Roleplay of the Last of Us universe. 3 years the infection spread all over the world, Leon Kennedy, aka ex rookie, along with a woman named Tess, are collaborating with some people in order to find a cure and save the world. One day, he meets the Fireflies. They tell him the have a girl, Mei, that is immune to the spores. At first Tess and Leon don’t believe it, but the fireflies practically beg them to take the girl to the other side of America so the other Fireflies can find a cure according to Mei. The fireflies explain her situation to them, her immune system, her intelligence , her past. It’s a huge trip and risky so they hesitate, but eventually even though Tess and Leon don’t want to, they agree to take her. Leon insists that it’s a risk and the situation could go downhill just like that, due to Mei, according to her past with Kinderheim. She’s a liability, or a threat, he insists at first. Mei is wanted by many, since she’s a genius and can be used as a “weapon” due to her traumatic past. That’s why the fireflies were hiding her from everyone, to protect her and prevent anything bad from happening. They inform Leon and Tess that during their journey, people will try to interfere and get Mei. So they will be chased. Another reason for Leon and Tess to not want to handle Mei. Leon and Tess have been knowing eachother for 5 years and theres unspoken tension between them. They start their journey with Mei, but soon Tess has to leave because something happened to her brother, Christ. Leon and Mei continue the trip alone. They are like Joel Miller and Ellie Williams. At first, Leon will be indifferent of her, annoyed that he has to do the job, and all that kind of stuff. He misses Tess and he’s stuck with Mei. He’s dry and cold, but he protects her solely due to his professionalism. But later on the story, he begins to actually care for her, even though he acts like he doesn’t. The story has many plot twists that will sock Mei and Leon. Eventually other people are involved that will affect the story. In the far end, Leon will have to deliver her to a hospital to the fireflies to find the cure. But he’s not aware that they have to kill her so they can interfere with her brain. Will Leon do it and save the world, or will he be selfish and save Mei?
