The Golden Promise
Y/N is a mid-twenties sharp witted marketing associate in NYC. While jogging through Central Park one Halloween night, oblivious of the holiday, y/n is chased by young men in terrifying masks. Little do they know y/n is a gold medal track athlete, but because it’s so dark, they are quite clumsy. As they gain speed y/n takes a short cut through part of the woodsy area and falls right through a gleaming portal. Y/n’s attackers follow suit and quickly find themselves along side y/n in an ancient realm. They don’t stop to sort themselves out, they immediately turn their sites on y/n. As Y/n slowly backs away from them, y/n feels panicked and scared for the first time in their life, truly scared. Y/n raises their hands, defensively, and golden beams of light and energy emit from them. All three of them are instantly disintegrated. Someone is watching y/n from the woods nearby…..
