y/n was the new girl in town, moving from san francisco, california to hawkins, indiana. when she walked inside the school, everyone stared at her thinking she was so pretty. mike and the party noticed her and wanted her to join their group but they all got nervous to ask. they didn’t ask till when she got to first period and mike was in her class. mike didn’t directly ask her instead he just made conversation with her then asked if she wanted to go to his house after school. he also asked if she wanted to hang out with him and his friends during lunch. y/n knows how to skate. when y/n entered her and max recognized each other from california, they used to be close in school.
mike told everyone that he had a girlfriend, but nobody knew that this girlfriend of his was y/n, a famous celebrity who was an actress/singer/model, until one day she came to visit, the party was surprised and asked why mike didnt tell them that his girlfriend was famous.
