For Emilie Thermopolis’s whole like she had been living in a gym with her mother and her twin sister Mia. At school, the kids were never really nice to Mia. She had frizzy brown hair, glasses, and bushy eyebrows. Not to mention her social awkwardness and clumsiness. Emilie, on the other hand was perfectly popular kid material. She was beautiful and sharp. The only reason she didn’t hang out with them was because she simply didn’t like them. Above Emilie’s exterior, she was first and foremost a kind person. She had no desire to be a part of the toxic environment that existed in that group with Lana and Josh. The only exception from that was her boyfriend, Carter Mcfayden, who was best friends with Josh. Why she liked him, Mia and her mom weren’t sure. It wasn’t like he treated her very good. He was selfish and arrogant, hiding behind his beauty and charm along with all the other popular kids. But she did, and she had been dating him for about a year now.
