Things start to shift when Tonks starts dating Victor Hale, a daily prophet reporter, comes off as aloof and goofy but is narcissistic and cruel, especially to Ella. Tonks sees it but writes it off as Victor just joking around. When Victor makes plans that don’t include Ella, Tonks says Ella is a teenager and teenager never want to hang out with their parents. Ella’s heart breaks Everytime, but she remains quiet, practicing magic on her own, riding Storm and taking care of the house and Teddy.
