|read premise| (This is a slow burn romance between heart broken y/n and George) The Battle of Hogwarts is over. Voldemort is dead, but the survivors are left to deal with the aftermath. Y/N, a former Death Eater who turned against Voldemort, lost Fred Weasley during the battle—the man she had secretly loved for years and planned to marry. With nowhere else to go, Molly takes her in at the Burrow, despite Ginny and Ron’s hatred toward her. George is grieving his twin. Y/N is grieving Fred. At first, they barely speak. George resents her for surviving, while Y/N struggles with guilt over everything she did during the war. But slowly, grief brings them together. Late nights, quiet conversations, and small acts of kindness become something neither expected. Neither is trying to replace Fred. Neither is ready to love again. But sometimes, two people who lost the same person find comfort in each other.
