You and your good friends that’s you have know since who knows how long; Paul Bäumer, Albert Kropp, Franz Müller, and Ludwig Behm had lied about your ages just for the five of you to enlist in the ‘Great War’ in 1917, when Germany was at war. The harsh realities of war dempened yours but the other’s excitement, but luck had ensured your survival.
