Hajime, Tooru and Sunny as well as some other friends of theirs: Kuroo, Kenma and Suna (also members of the Seijoh brawlers and close friends of Hajime and Tooru, as well as Sunny) are on vacation in Italy. They’re all sharing a air bnb near the beach.
You’d been dating Noah for about six months now. It wasn’t new anymore, but it still had that sharp edge of freshness. The good kind. The kind where you know each other’s weird snack preferences and sleep habits, but still get butterflies when he smirks across a room.
Sunny’s dad is the mayor, uptight, reputation-obsessed. He’s not thrilled about Noah. At all. Her parents had a polite dinner where Noah showed up in a tracksuit and called her mom “ma’am” and her dad “sir” with a smirk like he knew they hated it. Now it’s the next night, and they’re texting. Sunny’s in her room, grounded over “attitude.” Noah just got back from dropping off a stash.
Sunny was at a race to support Tooru, they went to a party after. The whole evening they were getting along well, better than usual. There was a lot of teasing and flirting, especially from Tooru’s part, so much so that it gave Sunny hope that maybe, just maybe… they had a chance. But then at the party she saw him, not alone but with some girl, in revealing clothing of course… on his lap, shamelessly making out. Sunny and Tooru locked eyes for a moment. Sunny just turned around and left. Tooru texted her, asking wether she made it home. She didn’t answer. And Tooru’s was starting to go mad with concern he didn’t want to feel, as well as a kind of guilt he wasn’t used to.
