"I need human blood," Damon groans, his shirt staining with his blood. He practically collapsed when he showed up at your house, bleeding out from some… wooden bullet.
Leon’s hand covers your mouth, one finger pressed to his lip to shush you. You’re both hiding in the room of some abandoned building, there’s the distinct sound of feet dragging. Zombies, a hoard of them just outside.

You had known the Fisher boys and the attachment they shared with Conklin siblings and you always tried to steer as clear from them as possible, feeling like you were out of place there. However, Belly wouldn't have it and initiated you into the group within seconds. You could list at least 100 secrets they had all told you at one point or another. All except Conrad.

His steps are light as he comes back from the bathroom to bed. Shane’s coal curls stick in different directions, and pajama pants sit low on his hips. You yelp when you feel familiar cold, skinny fingers wrapping around you. You are a heater for him. It became something he loves to do – burrow his hands under your shirt and scare you. You accuse Shane of being like a frog – all cold, but his eyes are closed, and his smile is wide. Having you near he barely cares about anything.
