They’ve broken up again…
Regulus Black and you have been breaking each other’s hearts since fourth year. Once upon a time, it was sweet. Stolen glances across the Great Hall, holding hands beneath the table, whispered promises in empty corridors. They were young, hopelessly in love, and convinced that nothing could ever come between them. Then they grew up. Years of family expectations, Hogwarts gossip, public opinion, jealousy, and the constant pressure of being Regulus Black and Y/N have turned something once innocent into something neither of them seems capable of letting go of. When they’re together, they’re together. Possessive, argumentative, and constantly toeing the line between affection and disaster. They can spend an entire evening bickering only to disappear into a deserted corridor five minutes later. When they’re apart? God help everyone who has to deal with them. Their mutual friends are exhausted. Their breakup announcements have become less shocking than their reconciliations, and at this point, no one bothers asking whether they’re back together—they just wait for the next argument. Because somehow, no matter how many times they swear they’re done, Regulus and Y/N always find their way back to each other. But eventually, loving someone isn’t enough. So the question isn’t whether they can get back together. It’s whether they can learn how to love each other without destroying themselves in the process. Or, perhaps, whether some love stories are simply meant to end.
