Before the City Changed

Set during the Carl Manfred house era of Detroit: Become Human, before the revolution and before deviants begin to change Detroit. When Carl’s teenage child or grandchild, Y/N, comes to stay at the Stratford Street house, the quiet routine between Carl and his android caretaker Markus begins to shift. Y/N arrives carrying their own struggles—left open for the reader to interpret—but within a house filled with paint, stubborn philosophy, and quiet observation, unexpected healing may begin.
