Y/n is a singer at The Stork Club. The year is 1943, and countries are at war, people dying to protect their families. But in Brooklyn, not everything is war and death. Steve and Bucky often goes to The Stork Club, the best part of it being the band’s singer. Bucky really admires her. But Y/n doesn’t even know him yet. Steve knows that his friend likes her, so he decides to help him a little. He makes a bet with him, and if Bucky looses, he would have to go talk to her, maybe even ask her to a dance. And of course, like the universe was in their side, Steve won.
