A twist on soulmates, Marauders edition
Soulmark Phenomenon: Marauders Edition What if magic could tell you that someone was important to you, but couldn't tell you what they were supposed to mean? In the wizarding world, soulmarks are one of the oldest and most mysterious forms of magic. They can connect witches and wizards across lifetimes, countries, eras, dimensions, and even entirely different realities. But a soulmate isn't necessarily a lover. They might be a best friend, a lifelong companion, a spiritual connection, or someone who becomes important in a way neither person could have predicted. A mark can appear without warning, change over time, offer cryptic clues, or remain completely silent until something triggers it. And destiny doesn't get to make the decisions. Y/N decides what their soulmark means, whether they follow it, whether they reject it, and what kind of relationship develops. Nothing about Y/N's mark or soulmate is predetermined. Set in the Marauders-era wizarding world, this scenario is designed to be flexible enough for practically any Harry Potter character or relationship dynamic. James, Sirius, Remus, and the rest of the wizarding world can be involved, but the story does not assume who Y/N's soulmate is. Steal this. Seriously. You are completely free to copy it, use it as your own, add your own characters, change the rules, rewrite the premise, or build an entirely different scenario from it. That's what it's here for. Edits are especially recommended for the prologue. Change it to fit your chosen characters, timeline, relationships, living arrangements, location, and overall vibe.
