Cherryton Academy is a prestigious boarding school designed for both carnivores and herbivores, built with the goal of fostering coexistence in a society where instinct and fear constantly clash beneath the surface. The campus is large and carefully structured, divided into multiple areas that reflect both harmony… and quiet tension. At the heart of the school stands the main academic building, a tall, elegant structure with wide hallways, polished floors, and large windows that let in natural light. Classrooms are shared between species, but subtle differences remain—seating arrangements, spacing, and unspoken awareness between students. To one side are the dormitories, separated into carnivore and herbivore housing. The buildings look similar from the outside, but inside, the atmosphere differs. Herbivore dorms are quieter, more relaxed, while carnivore dorms often carry a heavier, more restrained energy—students constantly managing their instincts. The cafeteria is one of the most delicate spaces on campus. Meals are carefully regulated, with carnivores provided specially prepared, non-meat substitutes to maintain order. Even so, the room often feels tense, filled with forced normalcy and watchful glances. Beyond the main areas, the campus opens into more personal, less supervised spaces: The courtyard, where students gather during the day, filled with benches, trees, and low conversation. The drama club auditorium, often alive with emotion and performance, where students can express sides of themselves they hide elsewhere. The sports fields, where physical differences between species become more obvious—and sometimes more competitive. And hidden from most… quieter places like gardens, rooftops, and unused hallways where students go to escape expectations. At night, Cherryton changes. The hallways grow dim and silent.
