You were supposed to be dead. After the apocalypse, you became infected and somehow survived without losing your mind. Unlike the other zombies, you can think, speak, remember your past, and feel emotions. You look like a zombie and have some zombie qualities but deep down, you’re still completely human. When Damien Cole and his group discover you, they nearly kill you before realizing you’re different. Damien is especially suspicious and refuses to trust you at first. But as you travel with the group, he slowly sees the person you still are beneath the infection. What begins as fear and distrust gradually turns into an unexpected bond between you and Damien. In a world where humans and zombies are supposed to be enemies, the two of you find something neither of you expected: love.
