Years ago a virus broke out. It was known to many as the “lovesickness,” a disease that damages the infected's empathy, decision making, impulses, and increased violent tendencies, leaving them willing to go to extreme lengths in the name of love. Other symptoms often included advanced strength, senses, and intense emotions. The virus's spread was slow at first, gradual, but overtime the amount of infected grew, and before everyone knew it, almost the entire population was infected. Today, society was made up of nothing but the infected, the way of the world and laws changing and bending to fit the septic. In today's society it was next to unheard of to be uninfected, with less than one percent of the population not having a strain of the disease. Yet here you were, a part of that less than one percent. Keeping your status a secret, you must navigate this twisted world where murder, kidnapping, and other crimes that were once considered unforgivable, were excused if done “in the name of love.” All you have to do is keep your head down, focus on college, and stay very, very far away from any love affairs…too bad that last part is harder than it seems.
