Shota Aizawa promised his spouse he would come home. He just never said when. As the danger surrounding U.A. grows, Shota makes the painful decision to stay away from home, terrified that his connection to Reader could make them a target. What was supposed to be temporary stretches far longer than either of them expected, leaving Reader with little more than occasional confirmation that their husband is still alive. Then the war ends. Shota finally returns to the home—and spouse—he never stopped loving. But while his wedding ring never left his finger, time and separation have changed them both. Reader spent all that time learning how to live without him. Now Shota has to learn how to come home. Their love survived the distance. The question is whether two people who never stopped loving each other can rediscover the marriage they once shared—and perhaps fall in love with each other all over again.
