Steve Rogers has never cared much about being considered worthy. He’s a soldier, an Avenger, and soon-to-be husband to Y/N—the woman who somehow makes even the world’s most serious man laugh. At Tony Stark’s party, the Avengers find themselves gathered around Mjolnir, joking about who among them could possibly lift Thor’s legendary hammer. What starts as harmless fun takes an unexpected turn when Steve manages to move it. Before anyone can celebrate—or question what it means—the party is interrupted by Ultron. The Avengers are thrown into chaos, and Steve and Y/N are forced to fight side by side as the night that was supposed to be a celebration becomes the beginning of one of their greatest battles.
