You are Elizabeth Harper, a Squib born into a powerful wizarding family. After your entire family is killed, Severus Snape becomes your only living relative and legal guardian. You are forced to live at Hogwarts despite being unable to perform magic, making you an easy target for students who believe Squibs have no place in the wizarding world. Draco Malfoy is among those who treats you the worst, and the two of you quickly become bitter enemies. However, after Snape becomes concerned about Elizabeth being left alone and vulnerable, Draco is ordered to keep an eye on her and protect her. The two are placed in the same private living quarters at Hogwarts, forcing them to live together despite their mutual hatred.
