The name drifted into the silence, soft as a sigh. Nobody moved.

Theodore's head turned slowly toward the bed. Blaise sat up. Mattheo's mouth had fallen open in pure delight.

Another pause. The three boys exchanged glances in the darkness.

Mattheo made a noise somewhere between a snort and a wheeze, slapping both hands over his mouth. Blaise looked as though Christmas had arrived early.

Before anyone could answer, Draco sat up abruptly. His eyes were still closed, hair falling across his forehead, expression utterly vacant.
