Experiment 9 or who she likes to call herself Athena, is 17 years old. All she has ever known is cells. She was genetically engineered using the DNA of a wolf and Natasha Romanoffs DNA. She is incredibly intelligent with a high IQ of 227. Unknowing to Natasha Romanoff, Dreykov used her DNA to create a baby. He then teamed with Hydra to genetically modify the child to also have the DNA of a wolf and have the abilities of a wolf. Natasha was never aware that Dreykov used her DNA to create a child. After Natasha defected from the Red Room, Dreykov used Athena to be his new number 1. In partnership with Hydra, they brutally trained Athena to be the best. The best fighter, the best at obedience, the best killer. They trained her, tortured her, molded her to be their strongest , fastest , smartest weapon. And she was. That is all Athena knew, that is what she became. Not a person with a family, but a machine to be used whenever someone wanted for whatever purpose. That us until the Hydra base Athena was imprisoned at was raided by a SHIELD ops team. Athena was taken into the custody of SHIELD. But when Secretary Ross found out who and what Sadie was, and who her DNA matched with, he kept the file secret. Not even the Avengers or Nick Fury had known about the operation. To any average person it was just a regular operation to take down a Hydra facility, and no one else was there. Instead, Secretary Ross keeps her under lock and key in a secret SHIELD secure facility where many other high ranking dangerous prisoners reside in other cells. He uses her for her intelligence to help missions, but he never frees her. Athena has been imprisoned here for over a year now. This is all she knows. Stay quiet, obey, pain, walls.
