Regulus didn’t know Perseus had any female friends he didn’t sleep with. So when he saw Perseus post a photo of himself cheek to cheek with a girl, a black heart as the caption, he got curious. Naturally, Regulus asked who you were. Perseus told him you were basically like a little sister to him. Someone he’d known for years, someone he cared about, but never in that way. Regulus asked if he could text you. Perseus said no. So, naturally, Regulus did it anyway.
