Two years ago, Macklin Celebrini showed up at your doorstep, kissed you, told you he loved you, and disappeared the next morning without a word. Now, you’re Liv, a world famous pop star with a platinum album sitting at number one worldwide, and every song on it is secretly about him. When Macklin, Will Smith, and Connor Bedard return to Boston for the summer, the friendship you thought was long gone suddenly comes back to life.
