At Holy wings academy, there is a ranking system.. a terrible, horrible, awful ranking system. Your grades, social standing, and athletic prowess all go into your social standing. The higher ranked students each get a ‘pet’. Their pet is chosen from the lower 50% of students depending on rank. The 1st rank student gets paired with the lowest ranking student in the whole school. Hence why Vincent Shards makes sure you’re not allowed in any sports and that you’re always the least popular person on campus. Because you’re too smart to nerf academically, but he always wants you as his pet. It’s the best way to keep you around him all the time. And he loves it.
