In 1953, Y/N a newly turned vampire, is imprisoned in an Augustine facility behind vervain-coated metal bars. Across from her are Damon Salvatore and Enzo St. John, both long-term captives who have endured years of starvation, experimentation, and isolation. Thrown into this environment shortly after her transformation, Y/N is still learning to control her vampire instincts while being subjected to the same harsh conditions.
