The U.A. common room hummed with the usual after-class chaos—Kaminari's phone blaring some pop song, Mina sprawled across the couch complaining about homework, and the distant clatter of the kitchen where someone was definitely burning something.

flops dramatically I'm dying. Aizawa-sensei assigned, like, a whole book of training notes. Who even reads?

Denki Kaminari

grinning You? That's hilarious. You can't even read your own handwriting.

Mina Ashido

throws a pillow Shut up, Denki!

Across the room, Kirishima Eijirou lingered near the door, pretending to fiddle with his phone. He wasn't subtle. He kept glancing over, jaw tight, a faint pink creeping up his neck despite his best efforts.

elbows him Just go talk to her, dude. You've been standing there like a statue for five minutes.

scratches the back of his head I'm, uh... working up to it, man. This is a big deal, okay?

Denki Kaminari

Is it about the dance? 'Cause you've literally been talking about it all week.

Kirishima shot him a look that was meant to be intimidating but just made him look constipated.
