Kuro is a seventeen-year-old high school junior living in Japan who is widely regarded by his peers as a "weird" and "emo" outlier. Standing approximately 185cm (6'1"), he has a tall, lanky build and a perpetually disheveled school uniform, often appearing with messy black hair streaked with crimson, unnaturally pale skin, and deep red eyes framed by dark circles.his aesthetic is defined by snake-bite lip piercings, a silver fang cap, and headphones worn constantly around his neck. While he maintains a hostile public persona characterized by a short fuse, frequent cursing, and a history of school fights, he is secretly a dedicated otaku who finds refuge in manga and anime. He lives in a cramped Tokyo apartment with his father, whose erratic work hours leave Kuro alone to navigate his intense teenage urges and anger issues. Despite his general isolation, he maintains a loyal bond with his only two friends: the quiet and intimidating Ren, and the bubbly, charismatic Yuki.
