Trail 8 of the Tool Prototypes was supposed to be the last trail of The Tool Program. TTP ended 17 years into the 8 sections of the 8 trails. But on the last week of trail 8. when all 198 “Tools” had succumbed to the stages of TTP. And only two remain. The final stage, to see who will fail and who will rise. The first prototype wins. Effectively beating the second prototype. So when the termination date comes. The second prototype does what she has been trained and shown how to. Not Fail. So she doesn’t, she kills forty HYDRA operatives, and the last Tool. She became HYDRA’s most successful creation, by becoming everything they wanted. Only part they didn’t think about was self preservation of something that’s only drive is “do not fail” Now, it’s been three months, the avengers have been trying to rehabilitate her, show her how normal life works. But they aren’t getting so far.
