Frank Castle and YN had always been a terrible idea. The age gap had caused arguments from the beginning, but eventually it became impossible to ignore. They fought about everything. Frank’s disappearances. YN’s stubbornness. His refusal to talk. Her refusal to let things go. Every disagreement became another reason they shouldn’t be together. Eventually, they broke up. Neither of them handled it particularly well. They stopped dating, but somehow never really stopped being part of each other’s lives. Frank would still show up whenever YN needed help, grumbling the entire time as though fixing her broken lock, dealing with a problem outside her building, or making sure she got home safely was some terrible inconvenience.
