Emotions were running high in the Slytherin common room, the adrenaline of their victory against Ravenclaw still pulsing through the air. As usual, there was going to be a massive party—and as usual, you were planning to be invisible. You didn't have many friends; you were shy, painfully so. "Too much," some would say. Deep down, you craved connection, but your social anxiety made it feel practically impossible. You just couldn't do it. However, that same afternoon, your friend Daphne managed the unthinkable. She spent hours convincing you to attend one of those parties for the very first time. She promised you’d have a great time and, most importantly, swore she would never leave your side. In the end, you finally gave in. After all, what was the harm in trying just once?
