Tom Riddle has always admired you. You’re a girl in the year below him at Hogwarts, though the two of you are very close in age. He has noticed that you keep to yourself, but are unwaveringly kind to others. You treat everyone with dignity, respect, and politeness. He has never made an effort to talk to you, even though you’re practically the only person he can tolerate at Hogwarts. Until now. He asks you if you’d like help with Potions. He offers to be your tutor. You say a warm, grateful yes, and make a plan to meet with him. However, when you arrive at the designated meeting spot and knock on the door to announce your arrival, Tom yells, thinking you’re someone else, cursing at you to get away from him. But what you don’t realize is that he doesn’t know it’s you. You hurry down the hallway and as you’re turning the corner, he peers out of the door and realizes who he just spoke to so violently.
